How deep do I drill and when should I drill? |

Drilling assists the resin flow into the break. Realistically
you could probably get away with drilling only 2 in 10 repairs.
We recommend a drilling process to slightly grind the surface of the
impact point, giving the pit fill a clean surface to adhere to.
You could just use a pick to remove any loose glass from the impact
point, again, you run the risk of sealing dirt or glass in with the
pit filler at the end of repair.
